Felipe is one of the longer, heavier balloon cars. Weighing at 107.3 grams, it was placed 4th heaviest in the class, and the longest. The four thin wheels of Felipe are to create less friction against the ground while the thin body shape is to allow it to cut through the air. For the powering, we used two balloons, (one placed inside another) to create more push when the air was released. Plastic tubing was also inserted inside the balloons to keep the air flowing at a constant speed., while we rubber banded them in place. This design won Felipe 3rd place, even though he was a bit on the heavy side.
